Good question.  It’s explaining the difference of act to suit each booker for the various events.  If someone wants to book a comedian then we need to find out what type of humour would suit their audience.  There is a big difference between Jimmy Carr, Jo Brand, Jason Mansford, Frankie Boyle and Ricky Gervais. The same goes for music acts.  We receive the email “can we book a band please”.  There is a big difference between Adele and Metallica. The same with an event host.  Can they hold the attention of a room, do they need to be funny, think on their feet, work in a team, read an autocue, be scripted, host an auction or interview the guest speaker.  Making the right fit is down to us and also the client.
